Bohs vs. Derry

League of Ireland soccer game on my last night in Dublin. This is the
highest level of soccer in Ireland. Competitive, physical, and fast game
with a little soccer thrown in the mix here and there. Haha. Actually is
an entertaining match with great fan support.

Croke Park Stadium

Picture of Croke Park Stadium where they play Gaelic Football and Hurling.
It is the 4th largest stadium in Europe and the largest amateur
organization stadium. It holds 82,000 people.

My favorite GAA team

On a tour of Croke Park in Dublin. This is a picture of the locker room
and my favorite GAA team, Kerry.

Da Boys

Sean, Stephan, Ken and Chris. Enough said.

Guinness

Can you tell who has had more guinness? My guess is the guy on the right.
2 hats at Gogartys Pub €12, 4 pints at Gogartys €24, stupid look on my face
when Sean takes a photo, Priceless.

At the races

Sean, Stephan, and Kenny won 100 euro on the horse race. They got 10-1
odds on the american jockey on the irish horse at Gogartys racetrack aka
Gogartys Pub.

Irish National Team

Kenny and I were in the coastal community of Howth and heard on the radio
that the Irish team was training in Malahide, just 10 min away. So we
hopped in the car and made our way to the training grounds. Unfortunately
we couldn't get to the fields but found a nice park behind the fields with
a great view.

Galway II

Statue of Oscar Wilde and me in the city center of Galway. Spent the
night in Kinvara at a B+B then got up this morning and visited the Alwee
cave. Stopped by Galway on the way back on the rocky road to Dublin.

Seany Boy

It was a good night...it wasn't a great night.

Cliffs of Moher

This picture doesn't do the cliffs of moher justice. The cliffs are 700
feet over the Atlantic Ocean. We spent about 3.5 hours hikIng along the
cliffs. Beautiful.

Dawsons Pub

Dawsons Pub, downtown Dublin, advertised as the worlds smallest pub.

Rochfortbridge FC

Coming off the field at halftime during my debut for the Rochfortbridge FC
over 35 team. We played a team comprised of local policemen and lost 3-0.
The referee awarded 2 penalty kicks for the police. As soon as the final
whistle blew, one of our players walked straight up to the referee and
said "there's your parking tickets taken care of for the next 6 months you
muppet."

Pool, pints, and pikes II

You saw the pool, here are the pints, unfortunately no pics of the pikes
(irish travelers) that entertained us, and made Roundy nervous for most of
the night.

Pool, pints, and pikes

So after waterskiing we drove the boat straight into town for a few pints.
This is a picture of Roundy losing in pool to a 9 year old girl. In
fairness to Roundy she had a father that was grooming her for a big
billiards career.

Hibs training

The professional Scottish football team Hibernian was in town training for
a Cup Final this Saturday. This is the same team whose stadium Kenny and I
were able to get into last year in Edinburgh.

Here's the proof

Just in case you didn't believe that I was able to actually waterski.

Preparing for my first waterskiing experience

Who would have thought my first time waterskiing would be in Ireland. Only
took me 4 times to get up.

The arizona nacho grande burger

I'm at McDonalds (I don't know why) and they have a texas bbq, chicago
supreme, NY classic, and AZ nacho grande burger. Do these exist in the
states? Been awhile since I have been in mcdonalds. Also does mcdonalds
have onion rings, because this one does.

Jet blue + goltv

Watching the Europe Cup while flying to Boston. Doesn't get much better
than that.
